B vitamins, protein, maltose, and sucrose, hops, malt, brewer's yeast and the elements of fermentation have been used to keep hair and skin healthy.  Many Hollywood celebrities have been known to use beer and honey on their hair to keep it shiny and luxurious.  

It is said that beer originated in ancient Egypt and that they did not only drink it, but the women used beer to freshen their skin and keep it healthy looking. The hops in beer supposedly slows down the aging process, because it affects the production of neopterin and tryptophan which are claimed to be inflammatory agents. Scientific studies at Munich University have been done which show that brewer’s yeast in beer can help fight acne by slowing down sebum production and killing off certain bacteria.  In addition, the panthothenic acid and B vitamins in beer help skin to feel soft, smooth, and moisturized.

Aside from the properties of beer - the other ingredients in this bar, Organic Honey, Organic Castor Oil and Organic Cocoa Butter will also make your skin feel wonderful.  It has a lovely citrus scent as well. Honey also creates abundant lather.

Ingredients: Amber Bock Beer, Organic Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Palm Oil, Sodium Hydroxide (not present in final product), Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Castor Oil, Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Honey, Pure Essential Oil Blend of Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis), Lisea Cubeba, Pink Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi)  and Lime (Citrus aurantifolia).
